Anderton Lift and the River Weaver

We had a lovely few days down on the River Weaver going down and up the lift.  Unfortunately after waiting two weeks in Middlewich in anticipation of spending a whole week travelling the full length of the Weaver we have had to cut the trip short and have only managed the section thro' Northwich to Winsford and back.

It may be a very long while before we can return and finish the trip off including the visit to Chester which was also on the cards but is not happening now.

Ho hum  life as they say happens while you are planning something else.

So I am heading South quite fast (well as fast as you can go on the canal system).  More on that later once I know the details have been finalised.
