Tsk

run out of water and I didn't want to move until Thursday I will have to move tomorrow instead.

How inconvenient - does anyone know how to recalibrate an electric water level gauge? (WEMA)

It tells lies to me by insisting the tank is still half full but the water pump disagrees with it.  And frankly if the water pump says no then it means no.

Hi Kath,
Les says the so-called gauge on the boat has never worked properly so he made a gauge with a dipstick ( a long piece of wood trim), marked it, and lacquered it. It is low tech but never fails! :)
You could also try asking on canal World Forum. Wrap up and stay warm!

Hi Jaq

Thanks for that - despite the fact I am not keen on putting anything in my water tank I suppose suitably lacquered it wouldn't be a problem. BUT I think the hole in the deck and the hole in the water tank are slightly out of line with a flexible hose in between so I can't even go low tech. Herrumph. I can't complain really the water has lasted a month with several lovely baths!

Enjoy your trip.
