Well busy day today. Mel and his sidekick Rob have fitted the rubber to the front of the boat using their favourite tool the forklift truck. Dont ask.
They have fitted the Propeller and started on the engine.
We have measured where I want the second fitting to go on the tiller and Mel has started on the headlight hinge.
I have driven miles and got not very far at all but have bought loads of stuff for the engine etc. Also bought some new sealant for those pesky leaking piggy on boxes.
Surveyor comes tomorrow for second visit. Electrician coming back again tonight to do some more exciting stuff with the electrics.
Bryan has continued in his efforts to make the boat secure.
I managed to get back online using the mobile broadband which wasn't playing this morning. I can't send emails presumably I have to change my pop thingy from BT to something else. I have at least received a few important ones this evening.
Am starving so going to have some food.

You need to go into your mail box setup and change the SMTP port from 25 to 587 because 3 blocks port 25 as that is the one that is commomly used and so carries a greater risk of virus's etc.
587 will still work with BT if you are using a hot spot or BT internet conection.
You can find details about this on the 3 help page

Hi thanks for that. I have managed to change the port to 587 but still not able to send emails. I have gone around and around changing various things so can't remember what I have and haven't done. At least now when I press test I get ticks for sending and receiving but the test still fails. 4/5 not bad but not much use! Can I still use bt as my smtp even if not with them anymore? I am currently trying my mail address same as incoming.
