Can you get a shackle through the centre rope fixing OK.
Do you intend to navigate rivers at night and are you fitting forward facing navigation lights?
I hope I can fit a shackle okay though I haven't tried it yet. I have six more of these three either side as mooring and/or fender fixings and they are intended for shackling so I imagine Mel has tested them.
Re river navigation at night - not intentionally but you never know! I have green and red ones up front just in case and of course a tunnel light. If I need others they will have to be temporary installations as and when required if I have to anchor up somewhere.
